In order to further improve the fire safety awareness of the company's staff and the ability to deal with fire accidents in case of emergency, the company held a fire safety field drill in the afternoon of July 29. A total of more than 30 people from the company's management and front-line employees in the workshop participated. At the end of this month, a batch of fire-fighting equipment of the company are going to expire and need to be replaced, so the safety and environment department of the company purposely arranged the time at the end of the month to pick out the fire-fighting equipment that will expire for the employees to use. In this way, it not only avoided waste, but also let the expiring fire-fighting equipment play its proper value. This can be considered as a major improvement highlight of this fire drill.
The drill was divided into two parts: fire fighting drill and live operation. Before the drill, the company made a comprehensive arrangement for the drill and asked all the participants to attach great importance to the drill, learn and master the use of fire extinguishing equipment, and improve the firefighting self-rescue ability in the actual drill. Then the director of safety and environment department explained to the participants from five aspects: checking fire extinguishers, using fire extinguishers, fighting initial fires, fire extinguishing methods and precautions, and made a demonstration on site. Finally, all the participants carried out the actual operation in batches and experienced the process of fire extinguishing on site. During the fire-fighting exercise, everyone was calm, unhurried, responsive and skillful, and the flames were quickly extinguished.
Through this study, the participants really felt the atmosphere of "fire safety is more important than a mountain", improve the emergency response and disposal ability in case of fire, and lay the foundation for the protection of personal and equipment safety!
